Workspace11 worked with Bentel&Bentel Architects to realize a two-story wine vault that runs the entire length of the main bar. The frame is fabricated from hot-rolled steel plate with a clear powder coated finish. Encased in glass panels with an internal temperature control, the wine bottles appear to float on mirror polished stainless steel rods. We also designed and installed the ceiling, outfitted with randomly spaced oak panels edged with ¼ inch steel plate and backed with bronze mesh.
